The ECPR Standing Group on the European Union is organizing its Fifth
Pan-European Conference. It will be hosted by the Faculty of Economics of
the University of Oporto and the University Fernando Pessoa, in Porto,
Portugal,from 24 to 26 June 2010. The Standing Group's Pan-European
Conference is the largest academic conference on the European Union in
Europe and brings together scholars working on the European Union from all
over the world.

Breve descrição da conferência: The Fifth Pan-European Conference on EU
Politics to be held at the Faculty of Economics (FEP) and the University
Fernando Pessoa (UFP) in Porto from 24 to 26 June 2010. A responsabilidade
científica da conferência é do Standing Group on the European Union (SGEU)
do ECPR, whose chair and vice-chair are Meltem Müftüler-Baç (Chair),
Sabanci
University, Istanbul, and Fabio Franchino, Università di Milano and UCL,
respectively. Section leaders will receive paper and panel proposals from
the programme chairs (Anand Menon from University of Birmingham and
Hussein
Kassim from University of East Anglia). Proposals should be received until
30 November 2009 and decisions will be taken by early January 2010.
